Use and Application Guide: FIX-NIVEL
SELF-LEVELLING fast-hardening mortar for applying levelling screed 1 to 15 mm thick.
Preparing the substrate:
- This product's success begins with properly preparing the substrate: all of the substrates will be clean of dust, wax, grease...
- Ambient temperature must be between +5°C and +35°C.
- Depending on the type of surface, choose between one of the three options below:
Very absorbent concrete or mortar surfaces:
- Prime the surface previously with a mixture made of 1 part liquid PRIMFIX and 4 parts water.
- Apply with a brush or roller and let dry.
Wood surfaces:
- It is necessary to apply bonding mortar between the wood and the FIX-NIVEL. To do this, apply a coat of EPOXIPRIM.
- When 2 to 24 hours have passed from the application of EPOXIPRIM, apply FIX-NIVEL.
My substrate is old ceramic tiles:
- In this case, there is no need to prime previously.
